跨域整合太空熱傳與綠色能源 本校王金燦特聘教授研究成果登上國際舞台

國立宜蘭大學再傳國際科研捷報。本校王金燦特聘教授,曾任駐印度代表處科技組長,長期深耕新南向國際科技合作,其所領導之「太空微重力熱傳及生物質能前瞻跨域系統整合應用研究」,憑藉高度前瞻性與國際影響力,獲選為2026年國家科學及技術委員會(國科會)新南向政策國際宣傳影片重點呈現研究案例,展現臺灣科研能量與新南向合作成果。

王金燦教授長年投入「熱流生物能源系統與跨域整合研究」,近年更結合「太空微重力環境下之熱傳機制與生物質能高值化應用」,發展兼具基礎科學突破與實務應用潛力的系統整合技術。相關研究不僅回應全球淨零碳排與永續能源議題,也為太空科技與地面能源系統之技術轉譯開創新方向。在擔任駐印度代表處科技組長期間,王金燦教授積極推動臺灣與印度及多個新南向國家在能源科技、太空應用與高教科研等領域之合作交流,促成多項雙邊研究計畫與人才培育合作,為臺灣科研走向國際奠定重要基礎。

國科會本次宣傳影片遴選重點在於「具國際合作深度、能回應全球挑戰、並展現臺灣科研價值的代表性研究」。王金燦教授團隊的研究成果,充分體現新南向政策在科技創新、跨國合作與永續發展上的實質成效,具高度示範意義。國立宜蘭大學表示,王金燦教授的入選,不僅是個人學術與國際貢獻的肯定,也彰顯宜蘭大學在前瞻太空工程、能源科技與國際鏈結上的研究能量。未來學校將持續支持跨域整合與國際合作研究,培育具全球視野之科技人才,為臺灣科研與產業發展貢獻力量。
【Distinguished Professor Chin-Tsan Wang of National Ilan University Featured in NSTC’s 2026 New Southbound Policy International Promotional Video】
Yilan, Taiwan — National Ilan University (NIU) proudly announces that Distinguished Professor Chin-Tsan Wang, former Director of the Science and Technology Division at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in India, has been selected as a featured researcher in the 2026 International Promotional Video of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) under Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy. Professor Wang’s pioneering research on advanced cross-disciplinary system integration applications in space microgravity heat transfer and bio-energy was chosen for its strong international collaboration, innovative scientific impact, and relevance to global sustainability challenges. The recognition underscores Taiwan’s growing presence in advanced engineering, space research, and sustainable energy technologies.
Over the past few decades, Professor Wang has made significant contributions to thermal-fluid engineering, bio-energy systems, and cross-domain technology integration. His recent research combines heat transfer mechanisms under microgravity conditions with high-value bio-energy applications, successfully bridging fundamental science and practical engineering solutions. These innovations support the development of space technology and scalable terrestrial energy systems aligned with global net-zero goals.
During his time in India, Professor Wang actively promoted bilateral and multilateral science and technology cooperation between Taiwan and New Southbound Policy partner countries. His leadership enabled numerous collaborative research projects, academic exchanges, and talent development programs focused on energy technology, space applications, and higher education research.
According to the NSTC, the 2026 promotional video highlights key Taiwanese research achievements that demonstrate international collaboration, address global challenges, and showcase Taiwan’s scientific and technological strengths. Professor Wang’s work exemplifies the tangible outcomes of the New Southbound Policy in advancing innovation, partnership, and sustainable development.
National Ilan University stated that Professor Wang’s selection affirms both his distinguished academic accomplishments and NIU’s expanding research capacity in advanced engineering, sustainable energy, and global engagement.
