宜大攜手NVIDIA打造東部AI校園交流盛會

國立宜蘭大學舉辦「NVIDIA 執行長黃仁勳主題演講直播校園同樂會」,由陳威戎校長開場致詞,
國立宜蘭大學AI推動辦公室與NVIDIA於2026年6月1日在行政大樓萬斌廳共同舉辦「NVIDIA GTC Taipei校園同樂會—國立宜蘭大學場」,同步直播NVIDIA創辦人暨執行長黃仁勳主題演講,吸引眾多師生熱情參與。活動除帶領與會者掌握全球AI最新技術趨勢外,現場更結合合作夥伴展示攤位、趣味互動體驗、互動式數位刊板展示及抽獎活動,打造兼具科技交流、AI體驗與校園互動氛圍的AI同樂盛會。

國立宜蘭大學校長陳威戎表示,AI技術已成為全球高等教育與產業轉型的重要核心,宜大近年持續推動AI跨域應用、智慧科技發展與人才培育,並透過AI推動辦公室整合校內外資源,深化東部地區AI教育與技術交流能量。此次舉辦「NVIDIA GTC Taipei校園同樂會」,除讓學生能同步掌握國際AI最新發展趨勢外,也期望進一步強化宜大作為東部AI教育與串聯北部與西部重要樞紐的角色。
本次活動同步關注NVIDIA執行長黃仁勳在NVIDIA GTC Taipei 2026最新AI趨勢與技術發展,內容涵蓋AI工廠與擴充基礎架構、代理與推理 AI、科學領域 AI、物理 AI 與機器人技術等議題,讓與會者深入了解AI於教育、科研與產業領域中的最新應用與未來發展方向。透過同步直播與現場互動交流,參與師生得以近距離感受全球科技產業對AI未來的觀點與願景,提升對新興科技趨勢的理解與應用能力。

國立宜蘭大學AI推動辦公室執行長/資訊工程學系特聘教授夏至賢表示,很歡迎NVIDIA再次前往宜大,本校AI技術正快速滲透至各領域應用,學生除了透過課程與專題培養專業能力外,更應主動接軌國際科技發展趨勢。此次透過NVIDIA GTC Taipei園同樂會活動,不僅讓學生能同步掌握全球AI技術脈動,也能藉由現場展示、互動體驗與交流活動,深入理解AI應用於未來產業與生活中的多元可能性。
活動現場除提供早鳥限量「NVIDIA信仰潮T」外,亦設有多項合作夥伴攤位與互動體驗區,透過展示與交流增加學生對AI技術與應用場景的理解。現場亦設置互動式數位刊板,結合數位展示與即時互動設計,提升整體科技體驗氛圍與參與感。為增添活動趣味性與學生參與熱度,主辦單位也舉辦抽獎活動,最大獎項包含GeForce RTX 50系列顯示卡,吸引許多學生踴躍參與。
國立宜蘭大學近年積極推動AI教育與跨域科技應用發展,並透過AI推動辦公室持續深化校園AI學習環境與產學交流能量。除推動AI技術於教學與研究應用外,也持續透過校園活動、產學合作與科技交流,提升學生對國際AI發展趨勢與創新應用之理解與實務接軌能力。未來,宜大將持續辦理AI推廣與科技交流活動,強化東部AI創新基地的角色,接軌全球AI技術發展趨勢,培育具跨域能力與國際視野之AI人才,為臺灣AI教育與科技創新注入更多能量。
The AI Promotion Office of National Ilan University (NIU), in collaboration with NVIDIA, hosted the NVIDIA GTC Campus Fun Day– National Ilan University Edition on June 1, 2026, at the Wan Bin Hall of the Administration Building. The event featured a live simulcast of the keynote speech by NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang, drawing enthusiastic participation from numerous faculty members and students. In addition to offering attendees the latest global AI technology trends, the event also incorporated partner booths, interactive hands-on experiences, a digital interactive bulletin board, and a lucky draw, creating an AI celebration that blended technology exchange, AI immersion, and campus engagement.
NIU President Wei-Jung Chen stated that AI technology has become a core driver of transformation for higher education and industries worldwide. In recent years, NIU has continuously advanced interdisciplinary AI applications, smart technology development, and talent cultivation. Through the AI Promotion Office, the university integrates internal and external resources to strengthen AI education and technology exchange capacity in the Eastern Taiwan region. “By hosting the NVIDIA GTC Campus Fun Day, we not only enable students to stay current with the latest international AI developments, but also aim to further reinforce NIU’s role as a key hub for AI education in Eastern Taiwan, connecting the northern and western parts of the island,” he added.
The event simultaneously featured the latest AI trends and technology directions shared by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang at NVIDIA GTC Taipei 2026, covering topics such as generative AI, accelerated computing, AI infrastructure, and the smart application ecosystem. Attendees gained in-depth insight into the newest applications and future directions of AI in education, scientific research, and industry. Through the live broadcast and on-site interactive exchanges, participating students and faculty experienced firsthand the global tech industry’s perspectives and vision for the future of AI, enhancing their understanding and ability to apply emerging technology trends.
Prof. Chih-Hsien Hsia, CEO of the NIU AI Promotion Office and Distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, remarked, “We are very pleased to welcome NVIDIA back to NIU. AI technology is rapidly penetrating various fields of application. In addition to building professional skills through coursework and projects, students should actively connect with global technology development trends. Through the NVIDIA GTC Campus Fun Day, students can not only keep pace with worldwide AI technology movements, but also gain a deeper understanding of the diverse possibilities for AI applications in future industries and daily life via on-site exhibits, interactive experiences, and exchange activities.”
The event offered early-bird attendees limited-edition “NVIDIA Faith T-shirts.” Several partner booths and interactive experience zones were also set up, enhancing students’ understanding of AI technologies and application scenarios through demonstrations and exchanges. An interactive digital bulletin board combined digital displays with real-time engagement features, elevating the overall tech-experience atmosphere and sense of participation. To increase the fun and student engagement, the organizers also held a lucky draw, with the grand prizes including GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards, attracting a large number of students.
In recent years, National Ilan University has actively advanced AI education and cross-domain technology applications. Through the AI Promotion Office, the university continues to deepen the campus AI learning environment and industry-academia exchange capacity. In addition to promoting AI technology for teaching and research applications, NIU consistently uses campus events, industry collaborations, and technology exchanges to enhance students’ understanding of international AI development trends and innovative applications, as well as their ability to connect with practical implementation. Going forward, NIU will continue to organize AI outreach and technology exchange events, strengthening its role as an Eastern Taiwan AI innovation hub, aligning with global AI technology trends, and cultivating AI talent with interdisciplinary abilities and an international perspective, injecting further energy into Taiwan’s AI education and technological innovation.
